It takes a variety of roles to support the fostering community. Depending on your role, we offer access to courses, events, and webinars to facilitate training, networking, and enhanced communication amongst foster caregivers, professionals, and the general public of BC.

Foster Caregiver
The “Foster Caregiver” membership is available to active foster caregivers residing in BC with a Family Care Home Agreement with MCFD or ICFSA (Previously DAA).
Membership Includes:
- Access to relevant courses; certificates provided upon completion
- Access to Zoom meetings and foster caregiver events
Note: Membership must be approved by our team prior to your gaining access to courses and event signup. You will receive a confirmation email once approved.
Kinship / Out of Care - Caregiver
The “Kinship/Out of Care - Caregiver” membership is available to active kinship/out of care caregivers residing in BC and contracted with MCFD or ICFSA (Previously DAA).
Membership Includes:
- Access to relevant courses; certificates provided upon completion
- Access to Zoom meetings and kinship/out of care caregivers events

Contracted Agency Caregiver
The “Contracted Agency Caregivers” – is open to contracted staff from BC with MCFD or ICFSA (Previously DAA).
Membership Includes:
- Access to relevant courses; certificates provided upon completion
- Access to Zoom meetings and kinship/out of care caregivers events

Social Worker
The “Social Worker” membership is available to MCFD and ICFSA Social Workers in BC.
Membership Includes:
- Access to relevant courses; certificates provided upon completion
- Access to Zoom meetings, education and workshops

Community Professional
The “Community professionals” membership is available to related professionals practicing in BC.
Membership Includes:
- Free access to relevant courses; certificates provided upon completion
- Access to Zoom meetings and professional events

Community (General Public)
The “Community” membership is available to the general public in British Columbia.
This is for any trainings we are offering to the public in communities across British Columbia.
